Toby + Aslyn = Fun evening of music

It’s time to share some really great videos from last week’s Toby Lightman and Aslyn concert. We saw them in Greenville, SC last Wednesday night and it was, as always, an excellent show.

If you ever have the chance to see either one of these women live, go check them out. And thank me later. If you have the chance to see them together (this is the third time we’ve seen them touring together), then go. It’s totally worth the money. (We actually only paid $10/ticket in Greenville.) Aslyn is from Atlanta, while Toby lives in New York City. And when they’re on stage, I honestly think that I could be friends with them. I know musicians are different on stage compared to “in real life” and since I haven’t talked to either of them a lot off stage, I’m not sure what they’re personalities are like…

I’ve had Toby’s latest (acoustic) album on my iPod for the past week. I’m loving it. Aslyn’s latest CD came out last August, and I was SO excited to get my copy of it. In fact, as I type, “You And Me And Daisies” just came on.

And if you’re a Zac Brown fan, he performed a duet with Aslyn on her latest CD. Buy it. You won’t be disappointed.

Since I knew photos weren’t going to be very great at this show (Handlebar has terrible lighting. The girls couldn’t see the audience, cameras just don’t work well in general there), I shot videos. Enjoy. 🙂
