Here I am again. Training Tuesday (and glad that I am posting these updates again!) So. Not the best week as far as training goes, but not the worst either. Keep reading to learn the new stuff I’m tackling over the next week!
Tuesday – 16 minutes on the elliptical. 15 minutes on the treadmill. Abs work.
Wednesday – nothing.
Thursday – a lot of driving. Very little working out.
Friday – work luncheon. No lunchtime working out to be done.
Saturday – 4.4-mile run with Carol! Unfortunately, my new shoes are proving difficult to break in. I had to stop at one point to re-lace, because they were cutting off the circulation in my feet!
Sunday – About 1.5-mile walk with my dad and toddler. (And does running on the playground count? If so, I exercised.)
Monday – Two workouts. A 35-minute strength workout in the morning and 30-minute cardio workout in the afternoon. I also raked/mulched leaves, which was a separate workout. I was EXHAUSTED.
I’m hoping by next week I can review the Jillian Michaels one week shred workout. It looks interesting, so far. I’ve actually completed the second day, but instead of her cardio workout, I ran 35 minutes. The weather was too gorgeous to not run – and I couldn’t bring myself to do three workouts.
My shoes are still giving me troubles. I have no idea why it’s taking so long to break them in, but it almost feels like they’re cutting off circulation in my feet. What gives, shoes?? I may have to be fitted for new(er) shoes – a different style.
