I’ve officially completed my last full week of training and I’m in the middle of race week! This past week has been pretty good, and I’m hoping that all three of us (me plus my race friends) are healthy and strong for this weekend!
Tuesday – 3.3 miles.
Wednesday – 2.5 miles. I did not want to run and I was really hoping that my boss would cancel our run. She wasn’t really feeling it either, but we went out for a slow 2.5 miles.
Thursday – 3.3 miles
Friday – Rest day.
Saturday – 8 miles in 1 hour, 31 minutes. We felt good. I was just so excited about the half marathon that I think I could have kept running another hour. That’s good, since I’ll be running for about another hour when all is said and done on Sunday!
Sunday – Yard work. Walked a mile. Tried to take it easy.
Monday – Rest.
I’m feeling good about Nike. I’m ready to just get to DC and take it all in. And this time next week, I should have photos from the race!
