It was another weird week. I finished my road trip on Wednesday, and then just wasn’t feeling the best towards the end of the week. I did go for a decent run on Friday, so that was exciting. But then it was pouring on Saturday, so no running that day. Sigh.
It’s my favorite time of year in terms of running. The cooler temps are fantastic and I sometimes feel like I could run for hours in this weather.
Tuesday – Walked the beach. Was going to try to run, but ended up doing a long walk with my mom on the beach. (We ended up walking over a mile.)
Wednesday – Traveled. No walking or running.
Thursday – Ran 2 miles in the neighborhood.
Friday – Ran 3.7 miles with my ex-boss Stacey. It was a really good day. I felt strong and I could have run further, but my car was parked at a meter, and I knew I was short on time.
Saturday – Nada.
Sunday – Walked the corn maze/fields for 2 hours. That counts for something, right?
Monday – Cycle class for one hour. It was TOUGH. Aileen would remind us to increase resistance, and I did it each time. She knows what she’s talking about, and my legs hurt in different ways after cycling. I love it.
I’m thinking this next week is when I’ll sign up for the November 12k. I’m on the fence about two 5ks. And possibly an 8k. But the 12k is a for sure thing I want to do. I just need to sign up.
