Tuesday – Ran 4.32 miles. Posted this on dailymile: To get myself motivated again, I pulled out my TLAM book and decided to start with week one of the half marathon “finish it” plan. Today I needed 4-5 miles. I felt pretty good. My shins were a bit sore today, but my legs were overall sore this morning. I felt good. I ran by myself, with music, focused on getting at least 4 miles in and I loved the numbers when I finished: 4.32 miles in 43:21 minutes. I couldn’t have planned that any better.

Wednesday – 30-Day Shred, level 3

Thursday – Ran 3.51 miles.

Friday – some walking. Nothing else, in hopes of resting before the 5k.

Saturday – Bele Chere 5k in 29:17.

Sunday – walked at Bele Chere. Then took a 40 minute walk with the family.

Monday – Ran 3.51 miles in under 11-minute mile pace. Pretty good run.

So last week I thought that maybe I’d be motivated to sign up for a fall half marathon, but I am not there yet. We have a few things already planned in October and the multiple races I originally wanted to run may not happen for me. I think I’m going to continue to follow the TLAM plan (as much as possible) and see if I can fit races in later.
