training Tuesday
I had higher hopes for exercising over my vacation. It could have been much worse, though.
Tuesday – Traveling day. We did walk in my dad’s neighborhood (30 minutes.)
Wednesday – Walked on the beach, neighborhood walk (30 minutes)
Thursday – swimming, 1.5 miles of running followed by 0.8-mile walk. Walked on the beach for about an hour. I was supposed to run a 5k, but due to the van breaking down 40 minutes before my race (and it was a 40-minute drive to the start), I couldn’t make it happen. I did what I could, what was necessary.
Friday – Walked for hours throughout the zoo. Also went swimming (there was playing with the toddler in the pool, and I swam a few laps in the pool.)
Saturday – traveling day so no activity.
Sunday – 20-minute run, family walk (roughly 1.5 miles)
Monday – 30-day Shred, level 3. Family walk (roughly 1.5 miles)
We have a Groupon that we’re going to activate soon. It’s for a two-month membership at a local gym. I’m hoping to take a few water aerobics classes during the week once we have that. I’m considering a 5k in my town towards the end of this month. I’m sad that I didn’t get to do one last week, but in the end everything worked out and I was still fairly active.

It seems like you did really well with what you had! I don’t think I’ve ever been even that active on vacation.
I’d say you still got in a LOT over vacation. Maybe not what you’d planned but you did better than most people would have. Sorry about the 5k. Hopefully you can find another fun one to do.
