trying to keep up.

Have you noticed I’ve been blogging every. single. day in December? Yep. Even during the big move of ’08.

I’m trying to keep up this week as we’re out of town. A brief recap of what we’ve been doing:
Travelling. We got to Lake Waccamaw around dinner time Saturday. Hit the Dollar General within two hours of arriving.
Visited Wal-Mart today. Picked up a few last-minute gifts.
Got home and we decided to run 2 miles. Trying to get the husband back into running since he kind of stopped in September (his last half marathon.)
Met up with the sister-in-law and her husband for lunch. Heather made lunch and brought it over and it was awesome.
Opened gifts with the family. I’m now rocking a way-cool NKOTB t-shirt (from the 2008 tour) and am oh-so-glad I didn’t buy one at the October concert. It’s much more fun wearing it today 🙂 We also got great stuff for the house, some clothes, gift cards and just overall goodness.
Have been reading. Not only did I finish Harry Potter, but I’m halfway through the first Gossip Girl book….that hasn’t been hard to read. It’s written for teenagers and it’s pretty short.
Also started a baby blanket. I have several inches already finished. Wonder if I can finish it before February?
Played Yahtzee. We have two versions of the game. Before today, we didn’t own the game.
Now sitting down to watch 27 Dresses with the husband and mother-in-law.
