unnecessary comments

I thought we were past some of the crazy comments and then today happened.

First, one of the neighbors asked me if we were due soon and when Kenny and I told him we still had three months, his response was, “You’re going to have to get a wheelbarrow to push her around!” I walked away (I was outside walking Chloe anyway.) I let Kenny continue the conversation.

Later we were walking, when we saw two younger girls (pre-teens.) We said hello to them, and they both said hi back and when we passed and weren’t technically in their line of sight, one of the girls said, “She’s PREGNANT!” and started laughing hysterically.

I told Kenny that the girl’s mother was pregnant once, or else she wouldn’t be here. And I could make her disappear in about five minutes if she wanted to continue on.

I was so not in the mood for the comments today.
