update on the car

I couldn’t let a day go by without posting, so you get an update on my car.

I took the car in this morning and agreed to their $99 diagnostics test. Turns out the issue could be one of 3 things, so we started with the cheapest…the gas cap. (It can also be some lines that control vapors related to the gas tank or a sensor for coolant temperatures.) $120 later and I left with a new gas cap.

The upside is if the light comes back on, I get to skip the $99 charge and pay for another part. The downside is I spent $120 on a gas cap.

A lot more happened today, but it’ll have to wait. Still enjoying the Saturday night šŸ™‚
