Halloween is almost here and this vampire bookmark craft is such a fun and fairly easy craft to do before October ends! Right after you make these bookmarks, make sure to check out the Halloween DIY paper garland I shared recently.

One of my kids doesn’t appreciate the scariness of Halloween. (I’m also not a fan of being scared.) We like cute and fun fall-like aspects around Halloween. We all love that this craft can be cute and not creepy!

What you will need to make a vampire bookmark:

Here’s a quick look at the steps of making the bookmark:

How to make your vampire bookmark:

Step one – Select the different colors you want to use for your (Dracula) vampire bookmark pattern. The template includes head, hair, cape, front part of the cape, arms, sleeves, body base, shirt, shoes and fangs. Trace and cut out the patterns.

Step two – Using glue or a glue stick, attach the sleeve cutouts to the arm cutouts.

Step three – Attach the hair cutout on the top side of the head cutout.

Step four – Use a pen or sharpie to draw the face of your vampire. Attach the fang cutouts along the mouth.

Step five – Attach the shirt cutout on the top part of the body base cutout and attach the shoe cutouts on the bottom side of the base cutout.

Step six – Attach the front part of the cape on the top part of the body base.

Step seven – Attach the head pattern on the top side of the body base by slightly overlapping it from the top.

Step eight – Attach the arm patterns on both sides of the body base by gluing 1cm of the arms’ top ends.

Step nine – The rest of the arm parts should be glue free so that the arms are free from the body base pattern.

Step ten – Attach the cape cutout on the backside of the vampire figure to complete your bookmark.

Step eleven – To use the paper vampire as a bookmark, simply slide a sheet between the arms and
the base of the body.
