watch out for frogs!

We made yet another trip yesterday. This time, we found ourselves in Lake Waccamaw. The trip only took 5 1/2 hours (as opposed to the almost 14 hours in the car to Buffalo.) We stopped once for half an hour (dinner) or we would have made even better time.

When we got to my in-laws and were carrying some stuff from the car, my husband yelled out to me, “Jaime, watch out for the frogs!” It was dark (we arrived at 10:00) and I couldn’t see anything. I’m just wondering why he would yell such a thing to someone who is not a fan of frogs, snakes, insects and other creatures??

Watch out for frogs. I could have killed him. And if I’m not already nervous about alligators, I have to look out for frogs (and lizards – they are everywhere during the summer down here!)
