we landed.

We finally made it back to Asheville. Our wonderful, wonderful friends Andy and Nancy picked us up from the airport at 11:30 last night.

We spent 20 hours traveling. About 19.5 of those hours were spent in airports and flying. And, really, only 2 of the hours were spent in the air.

The staff at Philadelphia Airport was amazing. US Airways gets many kudos from me. They did the best they could with what they were dealt with. For the most part, passengers were understanding. Everything went great until we got on the plane and I realized I had caught whatever my husband came down with last week.

At least I’m home now. My camera has made it to the computer room and you can expect photos and more weekend details later. I’m working from home today and trying to get healthy. We leave tomorrow for another trip.

We have no trips planned for 2010. Can you feel my excitement?
