Another week down for the Holiday Hoedown over on the Shrinking Jeans site. Let’s see how I did…..
Exercise? Barely. I got a decent amount on Thanksgiving day (I ran a 5k with the husband AND we went bicycling after dinner!) We took a couple of walks on Sunday, and I went for the Wii Fit on Monday. And by then I was hit with a monster of a cold.
Fruits/vegetables? Totally rocked this one, thanks to the husband
nagging checking in on me and making me change my snacks from Chex Mix to carrots.
Water? Easy. I have a great water bottle that I make sure gets filled up twice a day. And since I’ve been sick, hot tea has been one of my best friends. Can’t get enough.
Even with the holiday, I was down 1.4 pounds this week. (I know that I’m not in this for the weight loss, but believe me when I tell you I was thrilled to see a loss.)
Next week, we’ve been given the task of trying something new exercise-wise. I’m not sure what that will be yet.
That said, I took a pretty nasty spill at lunchtime today in a parking lot. My shoe got caught on a plastic chain I was stepping over (which was only 6 or so inches off the ground) and I hit the ground hard. The bruising has started, and I’m anxious to see how I’ll feel tomorrow, especially in terms of exercising. It’s definitely not been my week for health!
