weekend roundup…busy, busy, busy!

We were BUSY this weekend! So busy that we even forgot about a party that we had been invited to.

The husband tutored Saturday and today, which took up several hours. I did a decent amount of cleaning. My dad and stepmom will be visiting us later this week, and we need to be sure that the house is mostly presentable for them.

I also did a 12-mile run yesterday. It’s hard to believe that two weeks from right now, I will have completed another marathon!

I went to a consignment sale yesterday and scored a lot of great stuff for the kiddo. (I’m thinking that a blog post just about that may make it up this week.) He even went with me and my mom to the sale, and he did so well.

I was able to nap on Saturday, which rarely happens. We also managed to do a bit of shopping for groceries, household stuff and even craft items. Oh how I’ve missed driving the past two and a half weeks!

We (the kiddo and I) stayed in most of today. It was so cold, and I really didn’t want to take him out in the temperatures. We’re finally getting over all of the colds that have plagued our house. We did go down the street to my grandma’s house and then over to my mom’s house so he wasn’t stuck in our house the entire day.

So lots of playing, running, shopping, sleeping was done this weekend.
