With Sunday….on Sunday, while I was in LA, Michelle was gracious enough to hang out with her friend’s cousin 🙂 I was pretty lucky. Michelle picked me up, and we headed to Saddle Ranch for brunch. There were sooo many drunk people at noon on a Sunday! We had a blast watching drunks take on the mechanical bull. We walked Sunset a bit, and then headed over to Hollywood Blvd. to see what we could get into – it was about 2 hours before the Oscars were to start. I found someone dressed as Rambo – had my picture taken – and we watched the insane amount of security as people drove by. Pictures to come soon.
We then met up with Jen so I could see the Hollywood sign. More pictures were taken, and we parted ways. Jen and I ended up at Chevy’s for dinner, and watched the Oscars.
Monday was more calm than the rest of the week. After lunch, Jen dropped me off on Ventura Blvd., where I did some shopping and then met up with her at her work. I was able to see what she does (very interesting!) and off we went to Paramount Studios to see the screening of “Nacho Libre”…I’m not recommending it to anyone at this point!
Tuesday morning, I was up bright and early. It wasn’t even bright. I made my way to LAX, arrived before 6:30 a.m., and arrived at my gate at almost 8:15…my flight took off 30 minutes later. LAX is the MOST unorganized and chaotic mess I’ve ever experienced. It was horrible. Many, many hours later, I landed in Asheville and haven’t been able to sleep much since then.
