whew.

What a crazy year this has been! Marathons, half marathons, trips, weddings. It’s been busy, to say the least. But, I’m back…with a new computer. And, Lynde’s blog is giving me some inspiration to update more frequently. I’m such a slacker.

In case you missed it, I’m a married woman now. Yep. Who would have thought? There are a few pictures on my bride blog (citizen-times.com/budgetbride). I did have photos on my computer, but since my computer is less than a week old, I just haven’t downloaded them here yet. Give me time. By our five year anniversary, I expect to have pictures posted.

Thanksgiving is upon us. I’m excited – the holidays are always exciting to me. Kenny and I will be hanging out in Asheville for Thanksgiving, and then going to his parent’s house for Christmas. This year will be a little bittersweet. I don’t know if my brother will be in town next year (I’m almost sure he won’t be here for Thanksgiving.) He’s heading to Hawaii in February.

What’s up next for us? Lots of relaxing. Less wedding planning, a little less stress. More time to plan exciting trips 🙂 In January, I get 4 weeks of vacation! One of the perks of working at the C-T, I guess.

Kenny’s running the Turkey Trot on Thursday with me and Jason. Should be fun, and hopefully my mom will be along for the ride and will take pictures. We’re hoping to at least finish. We’ve been a *little* lazy since we got back from the Bahamas!

Oh, and really exciting stuff…I paid off my student loan and car loan this month! Two steps closer to being debt-free, which excites me to NO end!! Next up, the credit card. Then, we can look into a house…oh, I can’t wait for the day until we can buy a house.

I have to get to bed. At least you know that I haven’t been completely ignoring you all these months. I’ve just been busier than usual. I’ll post in the next few days – I have motivation now!
