who knew?
I knew there was a lot that went into buying a home. It’s such a crazy process. Everything is coming together so quickly, and all of the people have to step in at just the right moment. We’ve got an attorney, we’ve got the inspection set up (for Monday) and right now we’re working on the loan and what interest rate we’ll lock ourselves into. And the closing date.
After the closing date is set (and the inspection is done), we can talk to the landlords about our move out date.
Don’t even get me started on utilities. All of our utilities are in my name, and they’re all in my old name. I have to change my name on everything before they can move things (properly.)
And all of this transpired in the last 30 minutes, which makes my head hurt.
Best wishes on this next adventure. Who ever thought you’d get a house for your 1st anniversary!!! Love, Aunt Linda, Uncle Al, and Grandma B
Jaime, We just got some bad news and I wanted to share with you. The annex of Grandma’s church had a fire last night, with quite a bit of damage. She went home late this afternoon and went to the church and found that it had happened last night. The sanctuary apparently has much smoke damage, but no fire damage. They’ll know more when everything is inspected, etc. Will kepp in thouch. Love, Aunt Linda
