Last weekend, we visited a friend who happened to be housesitting for her parents (and her parents have an awesome house, so it’s more like vacation than housesitting!) While we were there, we tested out their Wii Fit. My husband had already been to the house the day before and was more experienced with the “game” and couldn’t stop talking about it.
Well, wouldn’t you know we went out and bought the Wii Fit today? (Really, if you’re looking at getting one, they run around $89 and Sam’s Club has them for $78.) If we don’t use it, I’m selling it on ebay. Don’t worry.
I’m crossing my fingers that this was not a wasted purchase. I know they’re fun, but do they really work??
I’m heading to the track tonight after work, for a speed workout. I hate speed workouts. I know they’re good for me, but I hate anything that’s going to make me work hard (because I’m lazy.)
And on the same note, Chic Runner tipped me off to this abs workout that I’m intrigued by. I’ve done pilates twice this week, but don’t want to do it every day. I wonder if I can substitute pilates with the abs workout every other day?
One would think that with the amount of exercising I do, I wouldn’t need all of the new exercises and routines, but I’m getting bored and I hate being bored with my workout!
