wish
I wish I had a stay at home job of creating cards, scrapbooking or crocheting (crocheting blankets or scarves in straight lines, because that’s what I do best.) I just spent the past 4 hours making cards (stamping, scrapbooking techniques) and it was so. much. fun.
I hate to see the long weekend come to a close. We did a lot, which I would love to blog about now, but really have to get to bed. Just to summarize things, we did the following:
Attended the Tourists game Friday night
Ran Saturday morning
Walked the dogs. A lot.
Played disc golf (my first time)
Downloaded songs on iTunes (again, my first time.)
Went downtown to see if Paris Hilton rumors were true (I got paid to do that, since my work peeps told me to go do it.)
Played the Wii…I rock at tennis
Saw Edwin McCain at the White Squirrel Festival.
Attended the White Squirrel Festival 🙂
Ran some more
Walked the dogs some more
Organized our closet
Saw a movie (girls only – Kenny had his book club)
Got free tickets to another movie (people. don’t take you’re under 5-year-old kid to a PG-13 movie. She doesn’t care to watch it. I don’t want to listen to her cry.)
Worked on invitations for a baby shower (not my own – a friend’s.)
Wrote this blog.
It’s been eventful, and oh-so-relaxing and needed. Loved it.
Now I’m off to bed.
