Taking care with the Xlear Care Kit @XlearInc #MomsMeet
My husband was most excited about receiving the Xlear Care kit. It included several products he’d used previously and he couldn’t wait for me to take at least one photo so he could start using the rest.
First up, a little about Xlear. Xlear Inc. is a company that is committed to providing products that utilize xylitol – a naturally occurring sweetener. They have a line of dental health products under the Spry Dental Defense System® brand. This is what we’ve used previously.
I set my husband to work on some of the products. For instance, I don’t chew gum. (I haven’t chewed gum in over 12 years since I had braces the second time and knew I couldn’t chew it if I wanted to keep my jaw aligned.) That said, my husband wasn’t a huge fan of the gum. He couldn’t exactly give me a reason why. The flavor? The texture? They didn’t work for him.
He did love the mints (Spry Gems), though. So those redeemed the whole package. He really liked the flavors, and there wasn’t a weird aftertaste.
The toothpaste was awesome. I love knowing we’re using something more natural, but also leaves my mouth feeling fresh. (I’ve used other natural toothpastes in the past and they just don’t compare in the mint-y feeling that I am looking for.) I have sensitive teeth, so I have to be careful about having anything that claims to whiten. This toothpaste was fantastic, it felt like I had just left the main doors of a Dentist Santa Monica based clinic or other office locations.
The mouthwash is getting use from us and it’s great too.
We were also provided with nasal spray. This is something I was oddly excited over. I’ve been on a prescription strength nasal spray for more than a year because of sinus infections. This is in addition to an allergy tablet I take daily. When my prescription ran out, I was told I could use something that had recently gone over the counter. I had been using it for a few weeks as directed and I had massive headaches for two weeks. I stopped using the prescription strength and went back to a regular saline spray.
I haven’t had the headache in almost a week, and my allergies are under control.
You can get the Xlear Care Kit (valued at $65) for only $25 by using the code SAVE50. Visit xlear.com/xlear-care-kit-special to order. That is such an incredible deal even if you only use part of the kit.
