Year in Review: April-June
Today I’m continuing my year in review (three months at a time. So much more manageable than trying to recap a whole year in one post.) So let’s get started.
This was really fun. I love going back through my photos – there are so many great memories from this year!
April
our little chunky monkey was 7-months-old.
Ā I discovered Native Run at a local concert. Love them.
I ran a half marathon! (The Knoxville Half Marathon – and I met Brooke and Bari.)
I finished my husband’s Valentine’s Day gift….from 2011.
May
Sleep continued to be an issue in our house.
I finally completed another sewing project (a cloth book.)
And I kept signing up for races.
My husband took several photos of the baby and me. These are some of my favorite from the year.
I had to take a break from social media.
Our little guy turned NINE months old – and he even got a haircut.
June
I ran a 5k, and that quickly became one of my favorite distances to run.
I didn’t write much about it, but we did have a memorial service for my grandfather.
I posted another one of my favorite photos of 2012 from our vacation.
We made our first REALLY LONG road trip. To New York (upstate NY.) Part 1. Part 2.
i’m kinda of partial to April š
I can’t get enough of the baby pictures!! I think photo’s of mom’s with their babies are so sweet and precious. I’m mostly behind the camera taking pictures of my husband with the kids but do have rare shots that I treasure!! Fun recap!
Those pictures of you and your sweet baby are precious. I love that your hubby took the pics. I can’t wait until Piglet and I get to have a photo shoot together. š
So awesome you ran a half! I have only done a 5K and then fell off the running wagon so to speak. Need to get back into it. LOVE LOVE that last picture! So truly precious. And the other one- you both have such beautiful blue eyes!
Great recap once again.
Your little guy is precious!! And very awesome you keep signing up to run races. I’ve been trying to train to run a 5K. Baby steps š But you are very good motivation!
