For the next few Fridays, I’m taking a look back at 2012 – and taking part in the review extravaganza. This week, we’re looking back at January, February and March.

So let’s get started, shall we?Ā
JanuaryĀ
My baby turned 4 months old! (This actually happened December 31, but I blogged it in January.)

And he met his uncle! (Also, where did my chubby-faced baby go???)

I finished a sewing project (laundry bag!)

February
I changed my domain name.

My family visited and my grandma got to meet her great grandson for the first time. (He’s her 7th great grandchild.)

Someone began solids.

March
Our six month post.

And then I blogged about our first six months of breastfeeding.

There was a proper cat update (her third adoption anniversary!)

Someone did not like applesauce (which is funny because now he can’t get enough.)

I was making baby food and blogging about it.

I endured my first solo-parenting weekend. (And then daddy came home!!)

  1. I have so wanted to change my domain name but I’m afraid on how it actually will re-direct people to the new one from the one I’ve had for ages, any words of wisdom on this??

    1. Thanks for the comment! As for changing domain names, once I set up my new (current) name, I had godaddy redirect my old name to point to this one. So anyone coming to the old name wouldn’t get lost. I finally gave the old name up about 6 months after I changed names. I’d probably recommend keeping the old name for about a year, just so you don’t lose a lot of people!

  2. Love that six month picture- that smile! And yes these recaps especially with the little ones make you realize how crazy fast it goes! I am tempted at times to change to wordpress– but I hate that they don’t have the GFC thing anymore. I just like the layout and some of the options better– but for now I am just sticking with blogger.
So glad you are recapping with us!!

    1. Thanks for helping to host the recaps! I work with WordPress at my day job. It’s ok and has features that I like, but it’s also a huge headache. I’m definitely going to stick with Blogger for a while!

    1. Thanks! That’s one of my favorite photos with my grandma. (He also got to see her in June and October, and we have a few fun photos from those visits too!)

  3. My daughter was 4months old in January too! I guess we have babies with a close birthday? (Sept. 14th) I am too interested in the domain change… I like mine but I’m curious for a friend. I have family in NC too (read about ya in your about me section) and have always wanted to open an Etsy shop but have no idea what I”d sell. šŸ™‚ glad to meet ya and newest follower! Thanks for linking up with us!

    1. Our babies are two weeks apart! My guy was born August 31. I may end up doing a tips post on changing domain names. I’m glad I did it, and it can be fairly easy if you know what to look for!

      And thanks for following!!
