Year in Review: July-September
The extravaganza continues….and so does my year in review. In doing these reviews, I realize just how fast this year has flown by – and how much we did! eek!
July
The baby turned 10 months old (on the last day of June.) and we went to Florida to visit my dad!
That trip led to some standing and pulling up, on the baby boy’s part.
And I ran another 5k. (I was totally on a role, and had such a great time in this 5k.)
I finished a Valentine’s Day present for the husband. I know…I’m a little slack.
And I finally told you about the baby’s time at the beach (hint: he loved it.)
August
I made some official running plans….and then they later changed.
The husband and I flew to New York City for a weekend. I posted about the 9/11 memorial.
I posted a video of our funny boy. And then I posted a video of him saying “cat” (which a lot of people didn’t believe until they heard it themselves.)
I finished another sewing project (go, me!)
We made a quick trip over to Biltmore.
Someone turned ONE (but I blogged when he turned 52 weeks.)
September
Seriously couldn’t believe that we were now parents to a one-year-old.
We visited the local corn maze.
I finally posted about his birthday party. And the behind the scenes moments (everything I made!)
Then I ran another 5k!
Fall decided to arrive.
absolutely love those blocks in that photo of your cutie!
aww look at him grow! I love how into cake little boys get at their birthday parties. He looks like he’s having the time of his life!
They do grow up so fast. I love 1 year olds- seriously my favorite ages are 10 months to about 19 months. They are just doing so much more, always changing, and haven’t hit the terrible two’s yet so enjoy!!
So awesome he loved the beach. We took Ryder for the first time about the same age and he did not like it. Even now he won’t really go in the water just plays in the sand. And so awesome you ran so many 5K’s! Great recap!
Oh and don’t forget- for this last recap we thought it would be fun to also add 5 goals/hopes for the upcoming year. That way when we recap next year we can see if we made it.
i live about 45 minutes from biltmore! https://growninsouthernground.wordpress.com/2012/12/21/2012-review-extravaganza-third-quarter-recap/
