yep, still here.
This week has left me in a daze. I’ve gotten next to nothing accomplished at home (one night we had no power, thanks to some fallen trees in a nearby neighborhood, and the next night we had no television or internet thanks to a construction worker cutting a fiber for the local cable company.) Work has been challenging, to say the least, and I’m exhausted when I do get home.
I have two freelance projects that really need to be worked on.
And then Obama decided to vacation in Asheville. Talk about a traffic nightmare. Oh, and a work nightmare as things on our website just weren’t running smoothly today.
Tomorrow I’m volunteering in the morning (did I ever mentioned I joined Rotary a few weeks ago?) and in the afternoon, I’m hanging out with two of my best friends since middle school. We have pedicures and manicures scheduled. It’s a much-needed time together (I think all three of us need the girl time.)
I’ll be back soon. With substance for blog posts. It’s just my head is in a fog right now, and I’m not sure anyone else really wants to deal with that.
Have fun tomorrow with your friends!
Sounds like an exhausting week. Have a great time tomorrow!
I’m jealous of your pedi/mani. I’m doing something along those lines after my two concerts in May. I hope you have fun! What bag did you make tonight? I’m nearly done with *another* margaret bag. I’m like a pro at it now. š
Thanks everyone š
Nancy, I made the swing bag. I’ll show it to you tomorrow. I cut everything out on Tuesday, re-cut a piece on Wednesday and sewed for about 2 hours on Thursday. I finished it last night in about 30 minutes, so it wasn’t a terribly long sewing time.
Tough week, eh? It happens to all of us every now and then… have a break, have a kit kat, you’ll be back better than ever before.
