It’s my favorite time of year. And I made sure we were outside as much as possible this past week. I want to capture everything outside right now so I can remember it in a couple of months when it’s gray and freezing (and possibly even snowing) outside.

This tree is near our house. I walk or run by it several times a week. I love seeing it change. (Today it’s even more orange than when I shot this a few days ago. I don’t even think there’s any green left on the tree today.)

Yesterday we visited a pumpkin patch. So many pumpkins!

He wasn’t so excited about the pumpkins at first, but warmed up to them.

Fall is just about over in my little area. Well, the pretty fall colors are just about over. Now everything is falling.

Hello big, drab oak tree.

I’ll be raking and bagging these leaves this weekend.

We’re lucky our neighbors have this tree hanging over the fence. Pretty colors to brighten the gray days.

Fall is my favorite season. I’m just not a fan of this part of fall – the part I have to clean up.

  1. I love the leaves in the last two photos the most but I have to say there’s something really pretty about the color of the leaves carpeting the ground in the second shot! Great captures – even the drab old oak.
