You Capture – Independence Day
So I don’t have much to contribute to the “Show Us Where You Live Friday” challenge (this week was all about foyers and entrances. Ours is a landing, and really not interesting.) I thought I could take part in the You Capture challenge this week. It was really on Wednesday, but when have I ever been on time with a post?
The point of the challenge is to get moving with the camera, and we all know how much I loveeee photos! This week’s challenge was Independence Day and food, but I don’t have any pictures of food, but I do have photos from July 4 weekend that you haven’t seen yet!
Last Thursday, we went to the beach (Ocean Isle beach):
And we met up with my family for dinner (they happened to be in Myrtle Beach for vacation and we were in MB for a concert.) My aunt Linda was ready to eat crab, and I thought it would be fun to showcase her on my blog š
My cousin Erin and I:
On Saturday we went running, and on my run, I came across this little guy (click the photo to enlarge it and see the baby alligator):
And on Saturday night, we went to the lake front to watch fireworks. Some not very great fireworks shots:
Next week’s challenge is shapes. I have to start thinking about that one š
Fun 4th! We were in Myrtle Beach the week before! š
OMG! That pot of crab feast looks fantastic!
yep, my fireworks shots look just like yours š
and that pot of crab, steamed vegetables and lots of other stuff was as good as it looked!!!
