Beth has perfect timing. It really has warmed up here – and is supposed to be 70 by Friday! Warmth was the topic of You Capture this week…and how happy are we all with the warm up in temperatures outside?

Sun = warmth (for me, at least.) And we had a lot of it this week.

Chloe was pretty excited. More sun for her to sleep in!

And I can’t remember what I planted last fall, but I’m so glad to see *something* growing in our flower beds. See the little one in the foreground? Thank you warm temperatures for helping my plants out.

(If it turns out I’m growing weeds, I wouldn’t even care at this point.)

  1. Aahh! We’re hoping this warmer weather doesn’t bring out all the plants and cause the trees to bud because we’re pretty sure it will get cold again and possibly even snow again. I really want a pretty spring this year after all the snow and cold. However, all that aside – beautiful photo!

  2. I believe you have crocuses sprouting up.. The future snow (if any) & cold nights won’t hurt them, since I’m quite sure they’re planted in a protected spot… We have bright sunshine & 40 degrees, with 50 degrees predicted by Friday!!!! A real heatwave!! Hope things are going well for you & Kenny.Love to all, Aunt Linda

  3. awesome on having sprouts, that means spring is near!! i love the cat bathing in the sun she is so cute and really that is great, they love the warm feeling huh!

  4. I love kitty cats sleeping in sunny spots. Makes me want a nap, too!

And I’m sure we have weeds growing, but they’re kinda cute when they’re so little, aren’t they? Soon enough, we’ll be battling them for control of the yard again, I know.
